现代简体“届”对应“屆”。历史上的“屆”从尸、凷声，早期有行动不便的意思，后来发展出“到达、期限、届次”等常用义；不能解释成“尸＋由”。 以上是各字的历史构形说明；“届”作为现代词语时，应结合完整词义学习，不能把单字意义机械相加。

The simplified 届 corresponds to 屆. The historical form uses 尸 with 凷 as a sound element; later meanings include “arrive,” “term,” and a numbered session. It is not historically 尸 + 由.
